A project to open a small field in Kumano Shingu as a private-public space (a park, a library). The site is two buildings across the temple from "Youth Library Engawa".

Text description provided by the architects. The project is a large-scale installation made for a music festival held in a public park, aimed at raising awareness of the pollution of the oceans by disposable plastics.

Project Background, With the upgrade of Dongguan's manufacturing industry, an increasing number of talents are attracted here resulting in more construction of subways and intercity railways. Given the 8 km Slow-Traffic Green Axis from the Regional master plan, the team proposed a master plan of Dongguan Slow-Traffic System with a total length of 3 km in the central zone of Dongguan.

The “Green Heart” Of City. Nature Flows Into Commercial Space. The Suzhou River Park allocates a valuable ground floor area to public space, even weakening the entrance to the sunken commercial area to enhance the perception of the site as a public space.
